Traveling through and found this restaurant nearby. It was afternoon so restaurant was not busy. Orders were made quickly and waiting time was short. I had the Hummus platter and my husband had the Cowboy Nachos. Prices were decent and food was ok. My hummus had good flavor but was missing the olives. Could have used less peperoncinis - not a good combination with hummus, but loved the fresh carrots and cucumber. Overall, it was a good late lunch.

We were greeted quickly by smiling staff. Great attitudes, food came quickly and tasted great! I like thin crust to be crispy and you did it perfectly 👌! We swapped the marinera for white queso and ate our fill. Roomy booths, nice atmosphere. We will be back!

This is specifically about our take out experience. Normally, our dine in experiences have been pretty normal, why that’s not carrying over to takeout is beyond me. Can you please explain how this shot glass is a fruit cup? 1 grape, and a slice of orange the same size! Then to be told that it’s your normal fruit cup size by staff, no, no it’s not. At least it’s not when we dine in. On top of that, once again items were missing from our order, this is a regular occurrence for take out. I would recommend dining in at McKenzie River during a slower time, especially at lunch. The food is great when the restaurant isn’t overwhelmed. That said, I would not recommend ordering takeout during busy dinner hours. Unfortunately, the process seemed very chaotic, with one employee trying to manage what looked like dozens of orders. Our food arrived cold, and the overall experience was disappointing. I wouldn’t choose takeout from here again. If you’re able to dine in during a less busy time, though, I definitely recommend giving it a try.
