This is my 2nd time at For Five, but my first time being in the Garden City one. Its very, very busy so if youre planning on working from here, make sure you come early or after the lunch rush to get a table! You can also sit at the counter but a lot of people will be waiting for their items and taking their drinks around you! Also dont worry about not finding a charger. Literally all the booths, tables along the walls, and even the counter seats have outlets for plus, USB, and USB-C. We drove out from the city to have lunch with our friends one day. We arrived too early for lunch so we drove around and found this great coffee spot on very busy 7th street. We found free parking behind the store and entered from the back. It is very large with lots of seating. You place your orders at the counter. Coffee only takes a few minutes and you take it to your table. If you order food, a staff member will bring it to your table. Great service. Visit Date: January 20, 2026 I got the LI cafe passport book from my co-worker for Christmas. In January I got to go to two coffee shops in this book, for five was the second one. I went with one of my friends. We both had the mochas and I had a shot of espresso because the book recommended it. The espresso was good, not overly bitter, pretty much just right. The mocha was amazing a good ratio of chocolate, coffee and espresso. It was pretty busy here and the atmosphere was nice. The snacks looked really good maybe one day I'll go back for a pastry. Really love this coffee shop/cafe. The venue is open and well lit and always has a solid crowd with some working at tables and other eating or picking up coffee. Was nice out so was able to sit outside too which was great. Had their chicken Caesar sandwich along with a raspberry team and a cookie. Great casual workday vibe and delicious sandwich. I’ll be back!!!!
