I had not been to a Five Guys in several years. We stopped in for a late lunch early dinner. It was a great experience. I cannot wait to go back to this one, whenever I'm free in Hermitage. A customer got up from eating and held the door open because he saw we had a carseat. The staff was welcoming and friendly, as well happy. You could hear bits of pieces of their conversations while they were doing their duties, and could tell that they enjoyed their job and legitimately happy to help customers and the restaurant as a whole. I truly don’t understand the hype around this place. I walked into pure chaos, and the entire place smelled like a deep fryer that’s seen things. Somehow I spent $40 for what amounted to a very small pile of extremely greasy food. The only reason this place gets 2 stars is because they aggressively throw extra fries into the bag like an apology. Honestly, that was the highlight of the experience. If the prices were slashed in half and the food wasn’t caked in grease, this place might deserve the hype people give it. Until then, I’ll happily take my money elsewhere.

I’m not much of a reviewer but I wanted to shout out the guys who work here - I go in a few times a month, and every time, I am treated like a friend. Everybody is very kind, prompt and professional. I always walk out of here with a smile because the dudes behind the counter seem to really care about their patrons. Food is always consistently good as well!
