Everyone was amazing. Absolutely nothing but TEAM! Thank you Jim for sharing your Champagne Velvet story! Quite the legacy. Food is just layered with nothing but delicious flavors. Stop by and sample their appetizers. Truly an eclectic menu of a mash of different cultures bringing together many parts of here and abroad. V was spot on perfect service. Truly a hidden gem to Highland Park - believe me the locals already know about Bluegrass. Make reservations!!

Quite possibly the best southern cuisine in the Midwest. They also have a great selection of spirts, wine and local brews. My favorite time to go to Bluegrass is around Mardi Gras. They go all out from decorations to beads to custom drinks and food items. Where else can you get a shot of gumbo! The staff is very friendly and they have a fun vibe. I highly recommend making a reservation because they do fill up fast.

Raining and starving, perfect timing, reservation required. The table is ready, as are the servers. Right away, they greeted us with warmth and a welcome! The food is great, and there are so many choices on the menu. The seafood salad is a must, with a reasonable portion. Highly recommend.

EXCELLENT SERVICE AND SUPERB FOOD! Joel was a great waiter, knowledgeable and courteous. We met the owner and what a nice LADY! A bit pricey but worth it! The only negative thing is that it is very far from where we live 😥 My hubby had the Jambalaya, shots of gumbo and chicken tortilla soup, baked beans and green beans. I had the 1/2 slab of ribs and baked beans. The moscato wine is so sweet! They served us a complimentary ice box pie.. delicious.
