Nice spot for elevated Italian, great ambience inside. Feels more like a city spot than suburbs. Got a lot of food and everything was great! Just not my favorite ever. Bread starter was wonderful, the Italian chopped salad was so flavorful, and I really enjoyed the octopus it was amazing! The prosciutto pizza was good just not the best, not super flavorful and crust was essentially a bland cracker. The seafood pasta was good I enjoyed that dish too! Service and staff were great.

My wife and I were in Highwood and stopped into this wonderful restaurant. We had the calamari which was light and fried perfectly golden brown. What impressed me was it came with a tomato sauce and a lemon aïoli. Best of both worlds! We also had an amazing limoncello cocktail with just the right amount of strawberry purée. My favorite part was the pizza. Almost cracker, thin and perfectly crunchy. We got the pepperoni pizza and they added fresh basil after it was cooked. It was a perfect pizza! I went to Disotto’s with my family today and had the most amazing experience! The food was excellent and the staff was top notch. Prior to our arrival, I let Nick the manager know that my son has celiac disease. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were met by the warmest and most friendly staff I have ever encountered. They made sure my son was offered many delicious gluten-free choices and expertly prepared/served everything. With that taken care of, my family was able to sit back and enjoy the authentic Italian food and atmosphere. Well done Disotto!
