Aftet having a fulfilling meal at K Grill; had to get dessert at K Cafe and try their bingsu, a shaved ice concoction similar to Filipino halo-halo or the Hawaiian favorite shaved ice dessert. The mango bingsu was a great finish to a savory dinner. The bingsu with syrup, fresh mango, sweet milk, crunchy corn flakes and finely shaved ice hit the spot. They serve more that just dessert here, so will have to try their savory offerings at another date. But I really luv this food court in the Schaumburg Joong Boo Market!!

A great location inside Joongboo for chicken! They have a deal for 15 wings for 15$ and I had to get my fix for Korean chicken. Got their OG Glaze and it was very tasty; crunchy, tangy, sweet, with a little kick! Would definitely grab Shaun when I do my grocery shopping! The store has other options but they mostly specialize in just chicken items or ddukbokki with a plethora of drinks and ice cream.

We had the dumplings kal-gooksu which literally means “knife (cut) noodles”. You can tell it was legit by the various thickness of the noodle strands. Broth was very refreshing. The fried chicken whilst being super crunchy lacked seasoning so next time we will stick to the tasty noodles.

Tucked into the food court of Joong-Boo grocery store, KCafe & Eats is one of the food court options and absolutely delicious! This is not your average food court food! I needed to go grocery shopping, but before the tasks begins hubs and I needed lunch! We walked thru the choices available at the food court and decided that Korean wings would be a tasty lunch meal. We were there just before 3:00 so we ordered the KPopcorn chicken lunch special. It came with tater tots (my fav), popcorn chicken with ddukbokki (ttekbokki) in the OG sauce, and a soft drink.
