We were visiting the area recently, needed a dinner spot near our hotel. This place was highly rated, decided to try it. We had reservations, we arrived early and I'm very glad we did, as the parking is pretty much impossible unless you do valet. I think we made about a dozen trips around their lot before we scored a spot right by the front door. First time at Seasons 52 in Schaumburg and I’m already planning my return visit. I’d heard good things but wasn’t sure what to expect it exceeded my expectations in most ways. I started with the strawberry and spinach salad, which was a great introduction to what this place is about: fresh, seasonal ingredients that actually taste like something. The strawberries were ripe and sweet, the spinach crisp, and the whole thing came together really nicely. For my entrée, I went with the scallops and wow, they did not disappoint. Perfectly seared with a beautiful crust, tender all the way through. I
