It’s that environment when at the restaurant the taste of each bite makes you give a small satisfying nod. You close your eyes and breathe out heavily - mumbling “Oh that’s SO good!” And not only you. It’s a collective act that I have experienced while dinning this evening at Gwen. I loved my meal here, everything was delicious and the service was wonderful! My favorite items were the lobster ravioli (must order), the flat iron steak, and the side of creamed leeks & onions. We ordered a decent amount of food and they paced it out really well even though we had a later reservation time. I would definitely come back again!

Stopped here before going to a concert at the Dolby Theatre, had a great time! Recommend the chef's table if you can sit there, it's a great experience and the cooks are happy to answer any questions you have about their work. The water menu was cute and the steak was absolutely on point!

After searching for weeks for the perfect place to celebrate our 10-year wedding anniversary, I finally landed on Gwen. With great reviews, a Michelin star, and a ranking of #41 on the World’s 101 Best Steak Restaurants list, my expectations were sky-high. And maybe that’s the problem. I expected to be completely blown away. Instead, it was just solid. That’s not necessarily a bad thing (I’m still giving it 4 stars), but I do think Gwen is a little overhyped.
