I can always appreciate a good diner. The place looks decent on the inside, nothing major, but not your typical diner. The cashier was very helpful in helping me decide what to get. I got the French toast and the breakfast plate. It didn't look like much at first. I was nervous. I asked the server for American cheese, but received shredded cheddar. Not a big deal. This a great place for breakfast, coffee and baked goods or late lunch. Friendly service, good food and wonderful assortment of baked goods. Proudly run by a veteran! Try it out! It is by Mexi Wing down town, formally Grandma's Gingerbread. Our Ruben was great, plenty of meat and the tots, fries and onion rings a fried crispy and served hot. Our meals were delicious!

Donuts are great; that brioche dough is different! The AG Power Plate was very good. The toast as brioche is just ok in our opinion, and the sausage patty could use an upgrade. Super friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Thanks for having us!

Delicious! Let's just start there. Now that I've gotten that out of the way, I'll give you the reasons why I will definitely return 😁. Based upon my son's Google research, my desire for a good burger, and my craving for a donut/doughnut, we met in the middle at this location. I was coming from Cleveland and he was driving up from Tuscaloosa; one hour on both ends. Of course I made it to the restaurant first and was hungry. He was playing with my emotions by taking his sweet time. I decided to have a donut/doughnut for my troubles 😬😂. They were out of a few selections at the time of order
