As a Texas guy, I don’t hand out praise for Mexican food lightly—but La Carreta absolutely delivers. I was told to come on Taco Tuesday, and that was 100% the right move. I made it a point to try a range of tacos and drinks, and honestly, this place is a win all the way around. Let’s start with the drinks: The top-shelf margarita was very solid—I'd give it an 8/10. Not the best I’ve ever had, but far from the worst and definitely worth ordering. Their version of a beer margarita (what I call a beerita) was phenomenal. Easily the standout drink of the night.
