I went during the day and it was smooth sailing. No lines, no chaos, just straight to the good stuff. I ordered the nachos with cauliflower rice and they did not disappoint. Flavorful, filling, and way better than I expected. I also grabbed a half-gallon frozen drink to go for $22 plus tax, which felt like a steal. Only downside? Paid parking. Come hungry and bring a few extra dollars for the meter. Totally worth it.

After hearing so much hype about Truck Yard Houston, I left pretty disappointed. It just felt like they cared more about the “vibe” than actually making the place comfortable or enjoyable. For starters, it’s basically not heated (or if it is, you can’t tell). If it’s even a little cold out, you’re just standing there freezing, wondering why you paid money to be uncomfortable. The setup is cool and it could be a great hangout spot, but that part kind of ruins it. The other thing that really got on my nerves was how every time you pay, you get hit with extra prompts.
