I ordered a 5 ft chicken cutlet and fresh mozzarella hero. They put fresh mozzarella on 1/2 the hero and slicing mozzarella on other half. I called to inform manager, he tried to tell me i was wrong . I told him i can bring the slicing mozzarella back to Proof it and he decides to hang up. This place is a dump now….

Nov 2024. I am a bagel freak. I have been going around the nation, but NYC beats the competition. The bagel was ok, cream cheese was fresh, but the jelly tasted like medicine, price is ok, location does have a parking lot. I would still recommend this place.

Unfortunately, this place has gone downhill recently. Not sure why. What I've noticed is the personal interactions between their staff and the customers has deteriorated. The quality of the employees behind the counter has been subpar. Many of them seem totally uninterested in doing the job. Doesn't seem to be an owner or manager overseeing them either. I usually get a bagel with either butter or cream cheese. Recently they have been VERY skimpy with how much they put on the bagel. Excellent bagel place. And I know bagels. There are a nice size, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Store has two clean bathrooms, tables and chairs, a grill and plenty of help behind the counter, as well as a large parking lot in back. Muffins, croissants, snacks, dairy and a large variety of snacks and bagels are available. Self serve coffee, or a Dunkin across the street. Bagel specials every Wednesday. They open at 6AM.
