AMAZING! We have been traveling in the Palm Springs area from Ohio while visiting family and have been trying a lot of new places to eat. If you want a quick and easy lunch, this restaurant is great. The lunch specials are under $11 and they include soup, main, rice, and iced tea. These are dinner sized portions. Food was good, and it hit the spot. To the person who complained about the service: I had the same server you had and let me tell you. She runs the entire dining room by herself, also serves drinks, handles take out and seats guests. I’m a server myself and she doesn’t have to be smiley through all of that. The food was very good, except for the rice. It tasted like burnt rice instead of fried rice. Also, had no eggs, peas, or any veggies. For $11.91, which includes tax, you get tea, soup, and an egg roll in the lunch special from 11-3 PM. Pretty good deal, especially in California. The waitress was very nice and attentive. She speaks fruient Spanish, too.
