Stopped around 3:15 pm for early meal. Definitely off season. Wife and I both had ribs, fries and slaw. Food was hot and delicious. Cool decor. Closing 7/4 until September for Summer. Will definitely be back.

Used to love this place, and was so disappointed by the food and service. We had to send food back multiple times to have it right, and ordered appetizers which came after our meals had already been delivered. Ribs were chewy, tough and inedible. Ordered diet cokes and were given Pepsis without being asked and waited 30 mins for a table in a completely empty restaurant. Used to be a go to spot but will not be coming back. Atmosphere was also dead and not at all like how it used to be

1 star A “Kitchen Fee” on Drinks. Then They Played Dumb. Let me save you the time and the mystery charges. The service was bad. The ambience was worse. And then came the bill. The Tack Room slapped a 2% “kitchen fee” on our entire tab — which was almost entirely drinks, plus a whopping $14 of food. When I questioned it, our waitress pulled the classic move: wide eyes, “I don’t even know what that is,” and blamed it on the kitchen. The kitchen. For drinks. Here’s the thing — you work there. We used to frequent The Tack Room often, but since the new ownership, we'll be heading back to The Local. We have gone twice since the reopening and have had issues both times. I understand that the menu is limited at this time, but it is also undesirable. They changed the deplorable Veggie French Dip to a Turkey French Dip. When most people want a French Dip, they want roast beef with real au jus. We also don't want jalapeno in everything. They are also very expensive for the venue. If you ask for extra dressing on your salad, they charge an additional $2. They are adding a kitchen fee to y
