The previous cook is no longer there. The menudo smelled horrible. I have been coming here for the last 3 years and the food has definitely changed. I told the waitress about the smell and she said it must be the cow, nothing you can do about it. Taco Thursday still there for $1.50 but the delicious authentic Mexican flavor is no longer there. If you are looking for great Mexican food this is not the place. It used to be my favorite place but not anymore.

In Indio on vacation and stopped by this Mexican restaurant near where we are staying. It was pretty busy with lots of people coming for pickup orders. The food is fantastic. Went for Taco Tuesday and came back Thursday to try more of the menu. Loved the quesabirrias.

Gotta agree with others when they say that service is rather slow. It really is. Food, however, is excellent. We ordered the carne asada and eggs with machaca. Both quite tasty and very ample portions. You definitely get your money's worth. Salsa bar had lots of selections but no identifying labels as to the level of heat, only a notice to not waste and only take what you're going to eat. Yeah right. Our table, as well as others, needed to be wiped down. Lots of nearby parking and the restrooms are clean even if a bit dim.
