Schaller's is one of those historical places that you would go to to have wonderful french fries with meat sauce and cheese drizzled over the top! You go in and you. Look at the menu board and you thought you had made up your mind before you go in but then you get there and you see so much good stuff and so much history surrounding a lot of those meals that you get confused about what you really want to eat. The staff is really nice. The service is basically pretty quick and they're flexible to you changing your mind.

I've known about Schaller's since I was little but I haven't been there in a while. I went back there today and took my son and the food was as good as I remember it, the service was quick and professional and personable. It was my son's first experience and he loved the onion rings and the ground round. It's iconic in Rochester, but it just doesn't hold its high rating from being iconic. You can't be an icon without having good service, good food and staff that care.

Haven't been here in about 20 years. It used to be really good when I was a child. It smelled good from the outside. We were just looking for a good quick bite to eat. We got 2 cheeseburgers, a mac salad,1 regular fries, 1 bottled soda, and 1 small fountain drink. When we placed the order we told the girl behind the counter what we wanted on the cheeseburgers when placing the order. When they were really the girl asked what comes on the cheeseburgers? Smells great from the outside but entering in the smells turns to be more like old grease. Floors are dirty. Decor is old and out of date. It doesn’t look or feel clean. Don’t accept Apple Pay. Plate price seems high for only getting on me burger and the meat sauce wasn’t spicy enough and was a little watery. Overall it’s okay but not a place I would visit frequently. Staff is polite and they work efficiently and quickly.
