I have been a customer at this coffee shop for many years, but I think it’s time for me to stop coming here. First, I want to say that the cashiers are always friendly. Unfortunately, the food quality has gotten worse with every visit. I usually order the lox bagel, but it is definitely not worth $15. It doesn’t taste very good, comes with only one slice of smoked salmon, and has too much onion. The coffee is okay. On my last visit, I ordered the avocado toast. It looked far from appetizing. I love this place! Since today's flight out of Chicago wasn't until this evening, after returning my rental car in town I skipped the Uber, hopped on a Lime scooter and rode right into this little sweet spot where the 'chilaquiles' sign on the door hooked me. Cool building exterior, even cooler inside: very cool vibe--artsy, nice design, great coffee, clean restroom, friendly staff, and a well-weathered floor from lots of foot traffic (popular spot!). Very pretty coffee shop, With a nice menu selection. They use collectivo for their roaster. I had their Abuelita Mocha, and it was good nothing too crazy. I also had their Urbano breakfast burrito which was also decent the salsa was very tomato-y and not hot. Over all I would come back here again <3
