Brass Tacks is one of my favorite local coffee shops to do work in. They also have some of the best coffee in Jacksonville and a really cool drive through for when you’re in a rush. I love the design of the store and how the music isnt too overbearing so you can work more efficiently. My go-to is the Irishman ☘️

their iced latte was spot on, not too sweet but still really smooth. I almost drove past this place cause its tucked back in a small strip but im glad i didnt. the barista remembered my name when i came back the second time which honestly just made my day. tried a cold brew too and it didnt have that weird bitter aftertaste other shops have. my only issue is i wish they had a little more seating but honestly it just added to the cozy vibe. i will absolutely be back next time im in town.

Visited this place once before, and really enjoyed the coffee and atmosphere of this coffee shop. The Signature Creations French toast blended and the hot Sweet -n-Salty coffee were made very well and were delicious. I didn't care for the coffee cake. I liked this place, but not the parking lot. When you visit, make sure not to park anywhere directly in front of the coffee shop. The drive-thru line of cars, that's right next to the shop with no outlet, blocks you from leaving if you are trying to get out. I'd recommend parking in the far back or an adjacent lot then walk there. Other than that, it's definitely worth a try, great staff, and they were super nice and upbeat.

I've gone to Brass Tacks for a few years since I moved to Jax, always been great! All the coffee is fairly priced and its a great spot for those who enjoy rich, bold coffee, especially if you know what you want. Ive tried a range of their lattes, cold brews, espressos, all very good! Not to mention this place has AMAZING seating, great spots for secluded studying, and great spots for a small get-together with friends! Definitely worth coming to this place regularly! A great local spot!

From reading all the past low reviews I can see the common denominator is the service. I'm not sure what it is, but 99% of the time when I come through the drive thru the person working is always rude. I keep coming back because the coffee is good and it's convenient. I just don't understand why literally every employee I encounter seems miserable like they absolutely loathe working there. I drive up to the window and the employee working just stares at me blankly. Doesn't confirm my order, doesn't tell me the total, just stares at me until I had to speak up and confirm my order myself. Just strange.
