What a fantastic experience: the food, the service, the ambience. Incredible attention to details. Our server, John, took great care of us. The wagyu and escargot second course were the highlight of the dinner with the focaccia bread. We had duck and Bronzino entrees wich were accompanied with delicious sides and sauces. The flavored cream brûlée with espressos and a complimentary prosecco for our anniversary really made our evening. This has been one of the best meals we’ve had in Jacksonville. Thank you to the whole Mathew’s Team for a fantastic anniversary dinner.

I had an amazing anniversary dinner at Matthew's Restaurant last night. We had delicious and unique cocktails before we were seated. We ordered the 8 course tasting menu and were seated at counter in front of the kitchen. Chef Brittany took great care of us. This is one of my favorite places to eat. I can't recommend it enough. We have done the chef tasting menu four times and we are never disappointed. I can't say enough about our server Peter. He is absolutely fabulous. I told him I was going to rave about him on my review so here it is. He knew his menu, his wine selections and went above and beyond to make sure I had a perfect birthday celebration. Of all the service I have had he will by far be one of my most memorable.
