i always have a great time eating at Tikki Masala. Many vegan and gluten free options, clear and easy to understand menu, and THE BEST DOSA! The host/owner is very kind, and it is usually quiet and well air-conditioned, so a nice spot to spend time all around. Reasonably priced ($15-30 for an entree) and conveniently located across from Forest Hills train stop. Highly recommend!

Walked by this place all the time and never thought to try Indian food in general. However, I came here soon after I tried Indian food for the first time a few months ago. I was sort of thrown aback by how small the dining room is compared to other restaurants up and down that same street, which tend to go way deeper into the restaurant. Regardless of space, I was ready to enjoy the food! I had to start off with a mango lassi, as is customary anytime I eat at an Indian establishment. Hands down the best local spot for Indian cuisine in Boston. The service is always impeccable, and the staff truly knows how to treat their guests with kindness and respect. Everything on the menu is absolutely delicious, but my family and I eat here almost weekly, and we can never get enough of the Chicken Vindaloo and the Butter Chicken.
