Fantastic place for dinner! Our waitress was an absolute delight and had nothing but good suggestions. I went with two other friends, and we all left very satisfied. We started with the muscles in white wine sauce, and it was absolutely delicious, we had to ask for more bread to get up all of the sauce, it was so tasty. The squash pasta was very hearty without being heavy, very cozy option. The salmon and forbidden rice was also super flavorful, with a nice, bright sauce that offset the salmon well. I stopped in to this restaurant on a whim, just trying to find a place to eat By Myself 1 day while my wife is in New York and glad that I came here. The service here is what I appreciated.The mostThe waiters were extremely friendly and the bartender had great conversation. The food was also spot on my only complaint. Where the potatoes could have been cooked a little bit more. That came with my filet, but other than that, it was exquisite and I would love to return with my wife. So she can experience the fine dining here at the bourbon's bistro.

Always great visiting when we're in Louisville. This is a great place to come with a group or have a nice romantic dinner. Food is always great, and atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. Nice selection of pours at decent prices.
