Only place open late on weekdays anymore. Incredible memories-I walked in off the street after now being in Kalamazoo for years and Harvey’s was torn to the ground, but Papa Pete was still rocking immediately walked in and saw an old friend. I hadn’t seen him more than 10 years. It was a good time.

I asked someone local, "Hey, where's the best pizza in Kalamazoo?" And she said, "Papa Pete's." I ordered a ham, sausage, onion, and mushroom, and I gotta say she was right. The guy behind the bar was very friendly, and the place was very cool. Only problem I'd say is that it's kinda hard to find if you're just going off of GPS, but even that's not a big deal if you don't mind being a little lost sometimes.

haven't ate there but have gone a few times on a weekend night. the staff is friendly and attentive. the patrons mesh well together and have a good time. music is good...sometimes too loud for too long(needs to give a 5 minute break now and then). lots of opportunity to play pool. cool place.
