A great choice for a casual, authentic Mexican fare. The complimentary chips come served with a thin, tasty and warm salsa. Their seafood ceviche is tomato-ey and flavorful, served with lots of shrimp and a large tostada. I personally love their tostadas and they're stacked with beans, choice of meat, cabbage avocado, and sour cream. Two of these are easily a meall! They make excellent micheladas with choice of beer. It's easily one of my favorite places in Kenner, and I love supporting our immigrant neighbors who've brought color, flavor, vibrancy and culture to our suburban enclave! 🇲🇽

My first time eating at this restaurant. The food was OK. It was not great by any means. The waiters was fine and the atmosphere was fine as well. Whatever I return probably not. I will try somewhere else. I think the food did not taste really bad, but it did not taste like it. Had that much seasoning on it. On the fajita, the steak had a lot of fat on it and the chicken had a lot of tenants or somewhat on it. It was a lot chewy. It was hard to get a good bite of it and swallow it. Loud Music, Good Food, Lacking Service Unfortunately, my visit to Chilangos in Kenner was more of a miss than a hit. While the food itself was actually pretty good, the overall experience left a lot to be desired. The biggest issue? The music was way too loud. It was nearly impossible to hold a conversation, let alone relax and enjoy the meal.
