Craving Filipino food in Washington has honestly been tough. We’ve tried several spots and haven’t been impressed. Been in the area a few times but haven't tried this restaurant. This time it was suggested by a local resident and man, I'm glad we came. My Japanese friend loved the Kare kare...I did too, although it's lacking the tripe. They don't have fresh lumpia, which is one of my favorite. All in all, we were all satisfied. I recommend this place.

It was my first time visiting Fil Cuisine in Kent, WA, and it never disappointed me flying all the way from North Dakota. The food truly tasted like genuine Filipino home-cooked meals. We ordered porketa, pompano sinigang, lumpia, chicken BBQ, bangsilog, and halo-halo. Everything was delicious, but the porketa, a crispy pork belly lechon, was definitely the best among what we ordered. I highly recommend it if you ever go there. Came from Las Vegas - you’re looking for the closest thing to a home cooked meal, this place provides authentic Filipino food. We got fried rice, lechon kawali, grilled pompano, pork egg rolls, pancit bihon, and halo halo. Portion size was great for the price. My favorite was the lechon kawali. Soft on the inside and nice crispy skin on the outside. Talking with the owner, you really get a sense of the amount of work, love, and effort the family puts into their dishes to provide consistent products throughout.
