You can tell they stretch out the life of the food. The beans had a funny taste to them. Likely from being stored too long. They used two different types of cheese in the same plate which gave a bitter taste to the dish. The chicken also tasted like they shredded leftover pollo asado. If that’s not the case then the spice choices were interesting. Overall, food was low quality. Service and atmosphere was decent.

Really yummy enchiladas but next time I'll look at the menu better so I can order correctly. I accidently ordered cheese enchilada with queso on top. They were good but I was expecting red sauce on top.

Tacos Penjamo is the spot for tacos! The street tacos here are the epitome of authentic tacos. They host a Taco Tuesday Special, where the street tacos are $1.50 each (Carne Asada, Carnitas, Chicken, and Al Pastor). I normally get five to feel full- and six when I’m feeling adventurous. You order/ pay at the cash register and get a table placard if you choose to dine in. If not, same process but you’ll wait for your food on the side. Have been going here for years and absolutely look forward to every Taco Tuesday here!

Moldy bread! I called to inform them about bread I had purchased with MOLD. They said they would only give me a refund if I brought the WHOLE bag of bread that was mixed with the moldy bread. I got partial refund (only that piece of bread) since I could not bring myself to look for the bag in the trash. That’s the last time we ever make business of any kind with this place. Absolutely ridiculous.
