Tortoise and Hare exceeded my expectations from start to finish. The wings were crisp and well seasoned, the buffalo chicken nachos tasted fresh with house made tortillas, and the French onion soup dumplings were a standout. The skirt steak tacos were tender and flavorful, and the Bronx burger was cooked perfectly with a clean, buttery finish. The cocktails were balanced and genuinely well crafted. Service from Veronica and Stuart was attentive and warm, and the overall atmosphere made the experience even better. A strong dining choice on Broadway in the Bronx.

Honestly best Mac and cheese I've had in a long time. Burger was great, the salad and hash brown that came with it was flavorful and really balanced the whole entree out. Service was great, music was at a good volume and not blasting.
