Really enjoyed our meal, both the wonderful food and welcoming atmosphere. Started with the Soupe à L'Oignon (Onion Soup). Rich broth, lots of onions and gooey cheese made for a delicious starter. The Truite Grillèe Provençale (Grilled Rainbow Trout in lemon herb butter) was flaky and tender and melted in my mouth. The shoestring fries were tasty on their own but the bearnaise sauce really elevated them. The service was amazing! Our server, I believe his name was Will(?) was on top of it. I got the rainbow trout, it was just okay. My partner said the same about the lamb he got. The appetizers and desserts were great! I got the crème brûlée and it was scrumptious. We also split the french onion soup, it was good but on the salty side. Overall, I had a nice time :)

This is a gem of a restaurant in a shopping center in Kirkwood, a suburb of St Louis. The scallop appetizer was outstanding, and the caesar salad was the best I've had in a long time. For my main dish, I ordered a 6-oz fillet with bernaise sauce and fries. The steak was tender and the fries were delicious. Next time, I would probably have them omit the sauce. For dessert, I had an enjoyable slice of lemon tart. The service was excellent, and the ambience was that of a Paris bistro. UPDATE-1: Another very enjoyable evening at this restaurant. Had the chocolate mousse for dessert.
