We were in the area for a FFCC Colorguard competition at Cypress Creek HS, we were trying to find a quick and delicious place to eat and boy were we NOT disappointed, super friendly staff, cute atmosphere with Spanish music to shake your butt in your seat to and a delicious menu. I got the cuban- the bread was soft & crispy and authenticity delicious, my husband got the roast pork and my youngest got the smothered chicken bites with saucy cheese and bacon. Ok. So im Dominican and I was really in a mood for empanadas; i make a point of my nationality because it explains my expentancy from a Dominican restaurant. I ordered 3 different ones. A pionero (ground beef, cheese and Sweet plain) the cheese was no where to be found and the plantains were not exactly sweet so just the meat and plantains not good. I really wanted to experience a good chimi being from dr but i was absolutely surprised at the quality of this place. We got 4 chimis, one pierna, 2 beef. All super toasted. 15 minutes later, they came with the pierna chimi not toasted, the chicken was well about a spoon of shredded chicken. See picture. And it was not toasted enough. I told the lady server if the small portion of chicken was a mistake, but she said that how they do it!! I was quite embarrassed i brought friends for good dominican chimis. Not coming back again..

The most delicious food I ever had. I definitely recommend this little joint. Do not be deceived for the little white house ones you inside you will enjoy. Reasonable prices. Rishiel and Iris was very nice. 👍👍👍 I will definitely come back.
