Atmosphere: In downtown Kyle, Texas this was a nice spot that gives friendly, welcoming, and great vibes. The staff and owner were super friendly with a great older upbeat style music choice The Meats: Brisket slices, Dino beef rib, pork ribs, and sausage links all on the same butcher paper spread. The brisket has the pull apart moist texture and taste, the ribs have the amazing mouth watering flavor and that sausage link has a snap on it with the most tender taste anyone can enjoy. Went for lunch on a Friday, a little late. Still had a full menu. Simple, but cool decor. Family owned and local. The barbecue was outstanding. I had the brisket, both sausages, pork ribs, and potato salad. I definitely prefer the spicy barbecue sauce, which really isn't that spicy. The ribs were absolutely outstanding and if you think your brisket is supposed to fall apart when you eat it, this is the right place to come. The owner was there behind the counter and the wife personally makes all of the side dishes.

Found Bloodworth BBQ through Google reviews after a round of golf this past Sunday. Not too far from Plum Creek GC. Quaint little BBQ dive. Good selection of sides and BBQ. Beef rib was the clear favorite among four hungry golfers followed by the pork belly and brisket. Solid four stars. Keep reaching for that fifth star and it might yield a Michelin star eventually. Very good BBQ! Keep up the good work.

Killer Texas BBQ! We got lean and moist brisket smoked pork belly and jalapeno cheddar sausage. All smoked using well seasoned post oak the bark and smoke ring on the brisket was real. All the sides were delicious but my favorite was the beef tallow green beans never tried green beans so flavorful before. Definitely a hidden Texas gem
