I had the small grilled catfish tonight and it was the best I’ve ever had , and at 79 years old you can bet that I’ve had a lot. The green beans were also top shelf. Our server ( Alex) did a great job and was very pleasant to work with 👍🏻👍🏻

I don't visit Louisiana very often, but when I do I like to order what I cannot find where I live. This visit included 2 nights in Lafayette. I didn't arrive from San Antonio until 8pm. fortunately, Don's Seafood is open until 11pm on Saturday and their dress code, from what I observed, is "jeans casual". The parking lot was large, and quite full. I told the hostess I could eat at the bar, but she said a table is available. My server was Moe. She was very attentive to my need. I ordered the Crawfish Dinner, which came with Crawfish gumbo, crawfish au gratin, crawfish etoufee', crawfish scampi,

Service is great and the food is delicious! We had crawfish early in the season and it was still great size and tasty. Enjoyed the stuffed catfish. The drinks are good and went well with our meal. Coming back here again on our next trip.

Stopped here as I heard they had yummy hush puppies. The hush puppies were ok a bit dry. But what was delicious were the fried crab claws and the fried alligator. The alligator was especially delicious. And which ever person on the Google reviews recommended the honey mustard to dip them in was spot on. Good choice. Would definitely get those two dishes again. Nice friendly service.
