My wife wanted a BLT and cup of eggs, while passing thur Lafayette. We stopped by here around 12am. Ordered to go, collected our food, and jump right back in the car. Thank GOD she looked in turned the light on and looked in her cup of eggs. She had a roach in it. Turned around when back and got our money back. The guy there didnt say anything and he didnt look surprised. He shocked his head and was like, here is your refund. Do u want us to cook yall anything else.......We looked at each other and was like.....NOPE WE GOOD. Walked away. Never going back.

I recently visited this Waffle House and had one of the most uncomfortable dining experiences I’ve ever had. As soon as I walked in, some customers started making comments toward me that felt mocking and disrespectful. The staff didn’t maintain a professional atmosphere. The person working — who seemed to be the cook and server — repeatedly asked, “What you got?” before I even had a chance to look at the menu. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE I stopped here to eat on Fri 2/27/2026 at 8:11PM. There were 3 workers in the restaurant, 1 cooker, 1 order taker, and 1 taking up space running her mouth. I placed my order which was simple pork chop, 2 eggs, grits w/ cheese, a waffle & bacon. This order got wrote down & I repeated it 2x to the worker. I waited well over 30 mins for my order. Once i received it WHAT DO YOU KNOW IT WAS WRONG. They gave me toast & no bacon at all. My cheese was hard on the grits because the grits were cold, Everything on my plate was cold actually which was ridiculous. They MOVED SO SLOW wi
