Shwarmas was a great find during our visit to Lake Charles. We are vegan and found this wonderful restaurant on a Google search. We had the falafel plate that consisted of 6 delicious falafels, hummus, 1/2 tabouli, 1/2 cabbage salad, 1/2 lentil rice, 1/2 grilled veggies, and a pita bread. All of that was $14.00!!! The wait staff was at friendly and the restaurant comfortable and clean. Everything was delicious and we will most definitely be back next time we are are visiting Lake Charles.

If you’re in Lake Charles and craving real shawarma, this spot absolutely hits. The first thing you notice is the smell when you walk in. Freshly shaved meat, warm pita, garlic sauce in the air. It smells like you’re about to eat something made with care, not something rushed. The chicken shawarma was juicy, well seasoned, and perfectly balanced. Not dry, not greasy. I found the flavors to be pretty solid and enjoyed the spices used in the meal. However, the service was a bit slower than I prefer, and the dining area felt a little cramped during the busy time I visited. It is a decent spot if you are in the neighborhood and looking for this type of food, but it is not quite my favorite place for a quick bite.

Best Mediterranean spot in LC. I’ve been coming here 2–3 times a week since they opened, and it never disappoints. Incredible family-run business with consistently high-quality food. Highly recommend.
