I've been traveling to Louisiana the last 5 years, absolutely love it here. Wanted to try some southern/soul food plate lunches, never have before, or greens Saw The Kitchen, and Tuesday was Oxtails..I was all in Got two plates.. just for me and my dog, made 3 meals from it, and I'm a big eater Mustard greens are incredible, bit of spice, Loved them. We only knew this place existed cause a local food influencer Ananias posted about it. When i say this is true down home cooking that will leave you looking for your comfy chair. 🤯 😴 Second time eating here today and yoooo do not sleep, get over there now.

I didn't want to come on here and maybe ruin everybodys spot because I heard of the place and it became mine went 3 days and was ready to go try something else and that wasn't my day got it got the cornbread cake and my drink ordered my food and waited to get it got a meatball stew is what they was serving I got my food I took a bite wentt to take a piece of my meatball to eat and pew a roach cooked and fried in the gravy and I'm getting asked what's wrong got to the owner shes like ugh ok do you want to try something else like they didn't just have a cooked roach in the food I'm good sitting
