DO NOT CONFUSE THIS PLAVE WITH WHATABURGER… THEY ARE NOT THE SAME!! We saw a review of this place on YouTube and decided to try it out because it’s “sorta” on our way through NC. “Sorta…” means the exit is off 85 but the restaurant is 8.5 miles off the exit. Last night (6/14/2026), I called this restaurant (Whataburger in Kannapolis) to order a couple of burgers and a small order of onion rings. I called at 8:58pm to place my pick up order. The first interaction was strange, and the girl who answered was very quiet. I provided a name for the order and waited to make sure she was ready for me to place it since the other line was silent, and then began placing my order. This is my husband and I new little spot ‼️ It's like a rare 💎 Gem.. If you know you know. The waitress is always sweet and friendly. The food is always fresh and hot. I just love being able to sit in my husband's Chevy C10 pickup truck on a nice sunny day, parked under the Drive-In canopy, enjoying a good old burger and a great milkshake ☺️ It really gives you that down south, southern hospitality, good old home cooking feeling🙏🏿💞🫶🏿
