The portion sizes are huge and the ingredients are fresh and prepared in-house. I was able to split my shawarma bowl into at least 2 portions. I really liked the spicy sauce that topped my chicken. It wasn't overly spicy and a nice compliment. The rice was cooked perfectly. I stood to watch the chicken on the grill being prepared and every employee within distance of me asked if I'd been helped. That type of service is rare in today's quick serve enviornment. When you see a restaurant with an almost 5 star rating go there. Go now. Go.

New 7/6/2026. I had the middle eats salad. The salad is fresh with generous portions of vegetables and chicken. It is very tasty. This is one of my new favorites! New review 6/14/26: I eat here several times a month. The food has been tasty and seasoned nicely. One thing I noticed right away today was my bowl was about 1/4 short on the portion size then they have been. Hmm I wonder what is happening 🤔. I hope this isn't the upward trend. I had an amazing experience at Middle Age Restaurant in Southfield, Michigan! My cashier Amina was absolutely AMAZING MY BOWL WAS delicious and full of flavor. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. Everything was very clean, and the staff were pleasant and friendly throughout my visit. I truly enjoyed my time there and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!
