One thing I learned from my experience at Pleroma Cuisine: do not make a decision based on the number of reviews alone. My experience was far from great. My African friends and coworkers had been planning a lunch/dinner at an African restaurant for a while, and since they all live far away, they relied on me to find the best place in the area. I usually take friends to my favorite African restaurant, but it’s an hour from our work location — and even farther from my coworkers’ homes. The most amazing service, hospitality , and food!! I was the only customer in the restaurant and was greeted like family by Chef B and staff. It was my first time here snd Chef B let me taste the spring roll and samosas. The flavor was rich, amazing, like a delicious explosion in your mouth. I also ordered the egusi soup and pounded yam, and it was the BEST egusi I have ever tasted. I talked with Chef B and she has a heart of gold.
