We ordered the Mac N Cheese W/ Bacon (to-go) and an Elysian to enjoy while waiting. We have been wanting to come here forever, especially since sprouts opened, but for some reason, the universe never brought us this way. For a local little Hawthorne joint, I am very pleased and I can't wait to come back with my wife and infant. Great food, good atmosphere, that's how this little place survives. Definitely worth a try.

The Corner Joint off of Hawthorne. So, so good. It is a family run restaurant that has been around for 14 years, and their food was flawless. The farfalle pasta with pesto sauce, Sriracha sauce, roasted vegetables and diced chicken was inspired, and the garlic bread that came with it was perfectly toasted. My boo got the Al Pastor sandwich, which consisted of a pork patty, roasted pineapple ring, red onions, avocado, butter lettuce and Oaxaca cheese. Jesus help us all. That sandwich was a delight. Came here on a Tuesday afternoon, first timer, decided to try somewhere new in the neighborhood. I wish I took pics, (only 1 pic) everything was so good and the server was SO FRIENDLY and ATTENTIVE. Ordered the Loaded Mac n Cheese balls, pep pizza, tacos, chicken panini and wings. ALL WERE GREAT AND TASTY. Also HH is 3-6 so my buddy got Ultras for $3!!
