First time here and most likely last time coming here. Server was extremely friendly and funny. Very attentive. Food was not so great. It just did not have any flavor to it. We were not impressed. We figured with a name like Habanero’s that it would be delicious. The Habe dip was good but that was about it. The margarita’s had very little alcohol in them. Crab enchiladas very mushy. Creamy chicken verde was very bland. Ground beef taco not seasoned. The plane on top of the building was neat. The decor inside gave an 80’s Perkins vibe.

Such great food ! Full bar, huge variety, and special diets too. Their guacamole and cheese dip and chips are spot on. Some of the best KC has. I had enchiladas. Tons of food and left overs. Pricing is reasonable. Had lunch special of two enchiladas with 2 sides and split cost of guacamole dip and with drink and 20% tip I spent $27.00. worth the 30 minute drive we made. Outstanding!

Yesterday, (2/8/26) around 11:30 am I had the #23, the creamy chicken verde, and I suffered food poisoning from the dish. Extremely awful as I almost ended up in the hospital. I understand that foodborne illness is a risk associated with running a restaurant, and I had been there dozens of times before yesterday and never had a problem, but I will not be eating there ever again. I hope this review reaches a manager or even the owner so the state of the fridge, freezer, and food prep areas can be checked and are up to spec. This is unacceptable and should not be something that I or anyone else

I went to this place because I seen on Facebook that they had happy hour on Sundays and I like Mexican food. I ordered a frozen margarita from happy hour that I thought was $9 for a 16 oz but come to find out it was an upcharge of $2 because it was frozen. That is super dumb!!! And why didn't the waitress at least let me know. Again, this is happy hour pricing. There was also a piece of hair in my hubby's salsa. I pointed it out to the waitress and all she said was "do you want some more salsa". Absolutely Not!! No, I'm sorry, or let me comp something. Just all around bad service!!! This was o
