First time dining there, will go back. The smoked fried mushrooms were great, large sliced portobello vs small button cap. The brisket tacos also great, could only eat 2 of them. Hubby enjoyed smoked turkey sandwich with cheesey corn, yummy. Enjoyed a smoked old fashion. Owner Brandon was very welcoming to all. We placed a to go order for wings, they smell delicious!

I got lunch delivered, so I can not speak on the actual service or atmosphere. I ordered the brisket taco and the fish and chips. When I opened the fish and chips, it was an attractive meal. I tasted a fry first and there MUST be some type of sugar in whatever seasoning they use, so that was a bit off-putting. I broke open the fish, which looked fairly large, to find and taste about 70% batter that is soft, like a pancake batter. I've never had fish battered so thickly, and I did not like it. Jazzy B’s in Lee’s Summit knocked it out of the park. Came in on Wednesday for their burger special and went with the black and blue burger, easily one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. Cooked perfectly, great balance of flavors, and just flat-out satisfying. The fries deserve their own mention, fresh, unique, and a step above what you usually get. You can tell they care about the details here. Service was solid, atmosphere was laid back, and the whole experience felt like a place you want to come back to regularly.
