Took my parents for lunch today. Got seated right away. Not too busy inside so waitress showed up for drinks quickly. Ordered the sample appetizer to get started. She brings our drinks back and asks if we're ready to order or do we want to wait (should have waited- lol). We ordered and boom, sampler shows up. Just start digging in to it, and then entrees show. Let me tell you, that we were pleasantly surprised with how GOOD everything was. Spicy cheese curd was just spicy enough. Nacho cheese had been smoked, pork ribs were perfect juicy and spice. We tried this cute little place yesterday. A couple months ago I made a list of places in the KC metro area that I wanted to try that had great reviews. My husband and I narrowed it down to this one. We came here for the ribs and they did not disappoint! Between the three of us we ordered 4.5 slabs of ribs! The spicy cheese curds were awesome and the spice will get you! The corn nuggets were even great, sweet and crunchy. The brisket is some of the best in KC! The smoked sausage was the slight downfall. We ordered the hatch chilie sausage...we think....and we think it was maybe beer cheese in it, that gave it a little weird flavor... Went to lunch today at 3Halves Brew Pub & BBQ (Liberty, MO) with three of my neighbors. In addition to their brews and BBQ they are also known for their BPT. And for good reason. Mine was meaty, tender and juicy, and the cracker breading was nicely crunchy. Very good sandwich. Good fries as well. Plus the service from Stacy was spot on!
