This was our family’s first time to Southwest Pit BBQ. Dad had the big heffer brisket sandwich with the cheese and sauce on the side. It was devoured very quickly and he said it was good. I had the pull pork sandwich and wish I would have asked for the sauce on the side. It was very juicy and the bun instantly got soggy. The flavor was good but I usually like less sauce and the tender meat to be the subject. I also got the baked beans, cornbread and Mac and cheese. Mac and cheese was delish! Would highly recommend. Staff was awesome, food was delicious, and prices were very reasonable. Cook even brought out a sample of the meat with sauce to make sure I liked it before cooking my order. If you are wanting some BBQ food and don't want to pay an arm and a leg, this is your place!

This place we just happened to come across while killing time waiting for our hotel reservations to come through and I'm so glad we did. The food was amazing. I had BBQ chicken wings and max and cheese and let me tell ya, I ate these wings with a plastic fork and easily got every bit of meat off of the bones. I'm not sure how long they were slow cooked but my God they were fantastic. The max and cheese was great too. I didn't have room to finish the food I had so I definitely couldn't eat anything else.
