I really really really want you rate this place higher, and to be clear will give it another try when we're in Little Rock again. Staff was great, service was good, and it's absolutely the vibe I love - especially in a BBQ place. BUT . . . we must have hit it on a tough night. We had dinner around 6-6:30pm and they were out of everything. Ribs, no. Pulled pork, no. Smoked turkey, no. Literally the only meat was brisket. And several sidess were gone as well. Brisket is not our favorite, but concur with other reviews that it's solid for brisket.

This is such a wonderful place to be. The atmosphere is comfortable. The food is off the chart. And the people here are all so nice and down to earth. You don't feel like cattle being herded through the feed line (like some other BBQ joints I won't mention). I have now tried everything on the menu and it's hard to pick a favorite but if I had to, it would be the brisket, closely followed by the Texas Twinkies. Food is amazing. Delicious is an understatement. Brisket, sausage, turkey, beans and potato salad - all tasty. Cannot wait to go back. Staff was super friendly and attentive. Very clean. Cannot recommend enough. Very happy. Is a little pricey; but bbq usually is. The portions are more than other establishments. I felt good about the money I was spending for my family with what we received and how delicious everything was. Highly recommend.

I just got finished going to 6 BBQ restaurants in 3 states Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama. Finally came back to Little Rock and tried Back Home BBQ. Got brisket, turkey, cheesy potatoes, cream corn, banana pudding and sweet tea, plus 2 sides of BBQ sauce, regular and Carolina gold. The brisket was thick juicy with a beautiful bark that melted in your mouth. Honestly the best I have had in years. The turkey was moist with a nice peppery crust. Even the sides were spot on.
