The coffee has a great and distinctive flavor that is robust without being too “tangy” or too “dark.” The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed. The service has always been friendly and still efficient. It’s obvious why People’s has been around for so long. What caught my eye today was the game section which is neatly kept and located in the alcove behind the bar near the restroom and ATM. It had a number of interesting games including some that are locally created.

I can’t believe how long it took me to come in here! It’s such good quality of tea and pastries. I got a cinnamon roll that is probably one of the best I’ve ever had, it tasted like it was a sourdough based. Also, they don’t necessarily have iced tea pre-chilled, but honestly the tea bags were such good quality already that with the pour over ice it was still super tasty and concentrated. The barista was super nice and helpful. I can’t speak to the rest of the items (like food, smoothies, coffee) but I’m gonna guess it’s all superb based on what I had today. Can’t wait to try the people’s coff

Lovely café, friendly staff, great coffee. I would really hope they would by default prepare the coffee in real ceramic mugs instead of the takeaway cups since the plastic in disposable cups releases microplastics and hormone-disrupting chemicals straight into your drink. This place seems to otherwise care about sustainability, so I’m wondering by the takeaway cup is still the default choice - without asking the customer for their preference.
