Liz is very warm and welcoming. She was kind with us from the moment we entered and throughout her service. She recommended I try the horchata and I’m so glad she did - it’s probably the best I’ve ever had! Always reminds me of Christmas! We enjoyed their weekend Tacos y Tequila brunch, which includes 2 tacos and a house cocktail for $12; which in this economy??? is a steal! We enjoyed our visit and will be back!

I had moved to the city in 2018 and found L’Patron then. the al pastor was incredible. in the years since, I have have traveled often and if I can, will order the local al pastor. I can in earnest say that L’Patron’s is world class. it stands above all others in its field. I only make it back to Chicago once every year or so and this is an absolute when I’m in town. I dream of it the way robots dream of electric sheep. 15/10 will always recommend (love the newest remodel!!)

I’ve been a customer since 2012 and keep coming back! They have a new fresh look fantastic atmosphere and great staff. I was shocked that the seasonal veggie burrito has been removed from the menu Liz said the pablano rajes and they were FIRE!!! Guacamole is still the best I’ve ever had! This place is still on the must visit list!!

Yikes. We often come here but the last 3 times we have had to leave. We waited over 45 minutes to be served this time. We were patient, but we will never be back here again. Quality is down since the switch to table service and the food is overpriced. Why should we wait 45 minutes and then another 30 for mid tacos? Go anywhere else on Fullerton for higher quality and less wait time. To the owner: be more supportive of your staff. 6 tables on a Sunday is not high volume. Get it together and prioritize people at your restaurant vs pickup like other restaurants do, or hire more staff. Simple.
