My granddaughters gave it a 14 out of 10 and called it "fantabulous" (fantastic & fabulous) The food was delicious and the presentation was awesome. Our server was super attentive, timely with refills and just a kind and professional young lady. So sorry I didn't catch her name. For most of our party of 8 it was our first time there and definitely not the last. I loved the decor, the beautiful chairs and all the art on the wall. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Such a cute Mexican restaurant. I love the feel with all the great decorating. El toro has been around a long time. That’s how you know they are good. I love the chips and salsa, their platters you can order for party’s and I just found a new shrimp dish I really loved. I forgot to write down the name but I will include a photo here. My husband loves that they have alcohol 🤣

Update: After 3 visits here, I have decided that I'm not coming back. The food is not good enough anymore. First time I liked it. Second time it was just okay. Third time I didn't like it anymore. Which really is a shame because the atmosphere is awesome and the sevice is great. But ultimately, I go out to eat for the food, so if the food is not good, there is no point to go. All dishes were too salty, the cheeses especially salty. Meats too tough. Not enough veggie, garnish, or fruit freshness/lightness to balance out heaviness of meat, beans, and carbs. Great portions and delicious food. I have been coming here as a regular for many years. After trying about 90% of their menu, there really isn’t anything that will disappoint. Highlights include the Chili Colorado with its amazing sauce, Pollo Cilantro with its grilled chicken that has the perfect marinade, Cocktail de Camarones or shrimp cocktail in a huge goblet, or many others.
