Regardless of which location you go to whether some if not all locations are owned by the same person/family, you can never go wrong with Sammie's. Whether it's a Chicago-style dog, Italian beef sandwich, gyros, burger ( Samburger) or Maxwell St. Polish sausage, fries; Sammie's knows how to do it and they do Chicago-style grub extremely well. First time ever trying this particular location was this past April and was definitely well worth the price. Called and placed an order, they forgot the tamale and pickles. Pickle can be excusable, wasn’t going to bother. went back to get the tamale at least, and was a very hot package and was told to be careful that it is hot - turns out, they heated up PICKLES. Very, very hot pickles. How. Why.

Great "Chicago" place to eat! It has all the classics including hot dogs, gyros and Italian beef. Staff is very friendly, the chef always waves! Generous portions and convenient drive-thru; give it a shot if you're in the area!

This place is to die for. Some of the best food that I've had in a long time. They're telling a beef tastes a hundred times better than portillo's, In fact everything I've had from here so far is exceptional. Strongly recommend if you're in the area to definitely stop at Sammy's and get yourself some good.
