El Pollo Loco started in Mexico, crazy huh? I suggest you try the chicken, pinto beans, rice, and flour tortillas. It tastes like a plate you get at a Mexican bbq. I ordered the 4pc half chicken meal combo meal. It had 4 pcs of chicken, small rice, small pinto beans, 4 flour tortillas, and a regular drink. Also, i bought one churro and got a minute-maid mango lime aguas fresca as my drink. I loved the beans it tasted Mexican and how my mom makes them. Also, the rice was cooked well and had a good taste. I enjoyed the chicken, it was good. The churro wasn't bad either.

It’s a great restaurant in an “okay” place. The atmosphere, the building, and the employees are amazing! Friendliness all around. However, as this location is in the center of Los Angeles, there is a chance that the homeless walk in. In the time that I dined within the establishment, a total of 2 homeless individuals walked into the restaurant. The location around the restaurant has a mix of beauty and filth. Delicious food 🥑 and drinks with all you can drink beverage bar. A lot of tables so plenty of room plus close to the Subway 🚇 station to get to your next destination. Wonderful attentive employees that go the extra Mile. I watched them HELP a disabled person. Ty Jesus and Amen 🙏💪😇.

I always try to go to an El Pollo Loco when I'm traveling since I don't have one anywhere close to where I live anymore. This location is within walking distance from my hotel so when I'm not craving Japanese food, I can get Mexican chicken instead, lol. Service is good and so is the food. Still sad there is no self-service salad bar thing where I can get onions and cilantro but you can ask for a bag of it by request at least. Atmosphere is decent for what this is and it's clean enough.
