We always have a pretty good experience at China Garden. The restaurant may feel a little old and the service isn’t always 5⭐️, but the food is always very delicious! My new favorite is the Crab Cream Cheese Rangoons. This visit, we shared some Sweet and Sour Chicken along with the Rangoons. I recommend a visit if you want some delicious food!

I moved to Los Banos a while ago and never had the chance to enjoy China Garden until today. I will never understand how locals could bash on this place - strictly talking about the food - because as a first timer, this food was unbelievably delish. I came in after 4pm and i had a dinner special, and it gave me a little bit of everything, and it allowed me to try different items. Pictured is the Dinner #1. (P.S. loved the tea.) Stopped by for dinner on our way home from Yosemite NP. It was a busy mother's day evening, but the service was relatively fast. Our server was very nice and helpful. The food was good, priced well. Parking was free, located right off the main road. We'll be back next time. Thank you!

Avoid this place! Terrible service — staff were rude and impatient. Prices are way too expensive. Food was mediocre, and the stir-fried rice noodles were clumped together and undercooked. Waste of money. Will not return.
