McDonalds Hawai’i should be embarrassed for how this store is managed and maintained. I’m standing at the counter when they call my name/order, then they just set it behind the counter and walk away, not even giving me 3 seconds to receive it. Literally went behind the counter to grab it myself. And then let’s talk about the sheer level of disgusting as soon as you walk in the door. Trash is literally overflowing. And not just the one by the front door but all the trash is overflowing(see images). How gross and embarrassing. You can even see in the images, it’s not like they were busy.

Thursday, July 31.2025: Went thru the drive thru to order! So very disappointed at my Happy Meal Chicken Nuggets! What they gave me sure doesn’t look to like chicken nuggets and when calling to let them know of my wrong order, nobody answers the phone! That’s double annoying! So incompetent! Friday, August 1, 2025: Tried calling McDonalds throughout the day and into the evening on Thursday, July 31, but still nobody answers the phone. Decided to go back to McDonalds this early morning. Every 3 out of 5 orders are correct from my experience. Different type of level of service according to the time of day. I would say morning is the best and after school hours is average.

The hours on the door show dine-in available until midnight, but when I came just to pick up my order (which I had placed ahead of time for counter pickup), the staff told me I had to use the drive-thru instead. The drive-thru line was very long, which defeated the whole point of ordering ahead to save time. It really doesn’t make sense.
