We visited on Saturday evening and loved the vibe of this brewpub. The waitress was great with answering our questions and service was good. The burgers were cooked exactly as we ordered them and all ingredients were fresh. Their sauces were a highlight… the jalapeño ranch was to rave about. Excellent hint of heat in a homemade ranch made this the perfect pairing with their hand cut fries. The beer selection was solid and our choices were delicious- the Riverside and the Peach sour were both ones we would recommend. Finding parking on a Saturday night was the only part of this experience

the first time i came to this restaurant was 8 years ago when passing through going south, and i loved it then, so this past weekend i decided to take a day trip to macon and try it out again. it was AMAZING, in every single way! the beer was so delicious, i would recommend getting the 4oz glasses to sample different types of them. and then there’s the food, 10/10. no other explanation. you have to get the blaze burger, which has a fried egg, pepperjack, pico de gallo, pub sauce, and jalapeños. best burger i’ve ever had in the state of georgia period. our server was very friendly too but it wa

So, we were told by a waitress at another awesome Macon restaurant, to go to Ocmulgee Brewpub for the best burger in town...SHE WAS RIGHT! She explained that another establishment tried to claim that fame but it just wasn't true. The handcut fries were another highlight to this cheerful and fun joint, that is not a watering hole alone, but a delicious place to refuel & have fun playing a board game or watching some sports. Oh, and they do have gluten free buns, but they were out when we visited.

Had a flight with finally free, cherry crush, mango peach Melba, and float. My personal favorite is between finally free and mango peach Melba. I’m not a beer drinker, more of a vodka girly, but these were some good beers! Split some regular fries and sweet potato fries with it too which were both delicious. I’ll be coming back real soon to try the burgers next and try a different flight!
